Job DescriptionRole Description:
Our Engineering team is tasked with developing and maintaining innovative MIG welding guns, torches, consumables, and peripheral devices.
As a member of our Engineering team, you will be a resource for new product development projects as well as sustaining engineering on existing products/product lines.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of new products/technologies related to hand-held MIG welding gunsWork closely with Senior Engineers, Project Leads, and Project/Product Managers to:
Identify customer needs and pain pointsCreate differentiated solutions (generate ideas and product specifications)Engineer solutions (design, prototype, test, and validate concepts)Deliver the product to market (create drawings, part numbers, bills of materials, etc.
)Work closely with Operations, Manufacturing, and Sourcing persons to:
Optimize designs for manufacturabilityAssist in development of tooling/fixturing needed for product productionHelp source parts and/or services from outside vendorsAssist in the sustaining engineering of existing products within the hand-held MIG welding gun portfolioProvide help to Operations/Manufacturing/Sourcing with production/assembly/testing/vendor issuesAid the Sales Team in evaluating and understanding causes for product performance issues in the fieldIncludes fielding calls and emails from Product Specialists and District ManagersIncludes troubleshooting returned productMay include occasional travel to customer locations for on-site product observationGenerate and implement ideas for continuous product improvementPrototype and test ideasUpdate 3D models and drawings in CADInitiate Engineering Change Notices (EC's) and follow through to completion Recommended Skills Assembly And Installation Cad Customer Demand Planning Gas Metal Arc Welding Problem Solving Product Design Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
